Christmas 2011
Welcome to Christmas 2011 – Our new addition that I built this year is the “Snowflake Factory”. The Snowflake Factory is where all the world’s snowflakes are created and sent out to fill all the clouds in the world to deliver snow to everyone. It has a staff of Snowmen manning all the critical production areas. The snowflake process starts with the freezers where the ice is made and stored and lifted by the crane to the Snowflake Press assembly line where the ice is stamped and formed into snowflakes. Once the snowflakes are created they are loaded onto the elevator where the final snowflakes are vacuumed up and blown to the clouds by the Snowflake Control. Some fun facts for this year’s display are, it took 311 man-hours to setup, this year’s light count is now at 63,601 lights, with 107 various lengths of extension cords that total to 3038 feet of extension cords. We still have our previous displayed wood constructed pieces such as the Santa’s Castle that stands over 9 feet tall, the Bi-Polar Spa for Penguins and Polar Bears, Kringle’s Bakery, Santa’s Toy Factory, the Gingerbread House and the Santa Train. Last year we raised $550 for the Hemby Presbyterian Children's Hospital in Matthews, North Carolina.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from My Family.
